Congratulations!!!! This is the real thing... Your first Challenge!!!
Use the instructions... See you in Johannesburg, Kempton Park on Monday afternoon at 16:00... You are on your own!!!!!
But are we really on our own?? Of course not!!!!!
The challenge: Teams must get from Jeffrey's to Jo'burg and deliver their "gift", which is a fish called Jubal, to a house in Kempton Park, preferably alive!!!
*with R400 per person (includes food) = R2000
*may use your cellphones during this challenge
*not allowed to use people we know
*travel by overland, not allowed to fly
We got a lift from our camp to the local mall, where we scouted for a lift to P.E. After some concideration, we decoded that a taxi was our best option - & local was indeed lekker!!! On a R20 budget (for the whole team) we bought some food & enjoyed an a la carte Sunday afternoon lunch consisting of bana, tuna, dorito & biltong sandwiches.
At 17:00 we got on an SA Roadlink bus to Jo'burg. We were pleasently surprised when bumping into the Yellow team! An interesting 16 hour bustrip with wind coming from everywhere! We slept like babies with the sound of rain coming from the back, only to realise that it wasn't rain but glass falling from the shattered rear window...
The night was filled with conversations with locals on the bus, sharing testemonies, fun facts about each other and just having a jolly ride.
Arriving in Jo-burg at 9:00 we decided to dance our way to Kempton park via the local metro rail. So here we are at Kempton Park Mall with about 4 hours to spare.
Now we are going to find a bathroom to freshen up and then... scavange for cheap food.
Who knows what the rest of the day will bring but we are looking forward to our flight toningt to Egypt. Wohooo!!!!!!!!
