More than two weeks into this amazing year we are stil realizing more and more what this year is really about, and it increases our excitement!
This week we had the privelage to get a taste of what is to come when we started working at a local primary school!
We did what was necesary to get the job done! We also had some amazing experiences and awesome views!
We just had to hang on to everything we had to prevent it from getting blown away, even ourselves at times!
On Friday one of my new sisters selebrated her birthday and decided to use the occasion to get baptised in the ocean. The water was rather cold, but it was worth while and we had a great mini worship session on the beach!
Sunday was D-day for our projects conserning Luke. We had to set up a basic descipleship manual for new believers and then we had to present it to the rest of the group. We decided to go with a hat to serve as an example of all the images we used to represent the ten topics. We used topics like : unconditional love, earthly posetions and sending out of desciples!
We had a great time and we realy got to know each other! We are starting to get more and more like a familly!
If any one can help, we need some help with the Ithemba Primary School's renovation, we are replacing broken wall panels, fixing the roof, painting everything and building a playground for the children.
We also had a little friendly competition with a "potjie-kos" competition. Unfortunately the judges didn't like our spicy pot and we finished third! Our theme was Madagascar and we where "Da panzy pot"! We even had a self apointed ruler, king Julian!
We are enjoying every moment and the food is stil great, so far!
