Incredible India- experiencing God’s provision first hand!

Words can hardly describe what India is like, let alone sum up 6 weeks of ministry, new experiences, strange cultural habits, Hindu idol worship, hot food and spices, spiritual warfare unlike any we have ever known, smells and sights of poverty known but ignored by the western world, personal struggles and attacks, disbelief at personal growth and change throughout the year, but also experiencing the power of prayer and the very real presence of God in the lives of children so small their faith touches your inner being and makes you wonder why you’re not living the life you have been called to live-to be in constant communion with the Lord and in step with the Spirit! What an example of faith!

Guat’s up?

Guat’s up?
Ministering in a country that is of catholic belief, Mayan culture, a heritage of witchcraft and Satanism, idol worship and practises, generational curses and spiritual warfare, in Spanish and local dialects is quite confronting at first. n But God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of authority through the Spirit. Fusagasuga Project Update & Prayer Support

To our supporters, family and friends of the Southbound team, Greetings from Bogota Colombia! As we write this we are getting ready to depart for Peru this morning via, Leticia, Iquitos, Lima and then to our final destination of Chiclayo by Friday. God has been faithful in meeting our needs so far and although we don't have the finances as yet to complete the whole trip without some hitching and faith journeying, we are trusting God to provide the rest of our needs in abundance (1 Cor 4:2; Matt 25:21)! Proverbs 10:22 was given to us as a team for our journey to Peru and we are walking in this by faith!

The road to Damascus...

Although I am speaking figuratively, the road to ‘Damascus’ is not an easy one. Often marked with many obstacles and potholes, the ‘road’ of following Christ is never without a challenge. Saul (later Paul) experienced this journey on the road to Damascus. Although his intention for heading there was to persecute Christians, God had other plans for him, as we see through his miraculous change of life after his conversion.

One Sunday in July in The Philippines after returning from our work project on Olango Island, God gave me a revelation for my Silver team, in relation to Acts 9. It was to do with our preparation for Luke 10 later in the month and to be used as a background for teaching and personal growth in the Lord. Although this relates specifically to us and what God showed us through this scripture at the time, I hope that the principles in this passage will encourage you in your journey to Damascus with the Lord!
