Its been a great year. A journey full of lessons learned, adventures, fun and difficult times? Our expectations have been met in more ways than one could imagine. The first week in India we spent in New Delhi, while we waited for another Global team (Nortbound) to arrive. Together we went to an Orphanage in Kota, South of New Delhi. It...

Thailand Or as I would describe it, taailand. Because as one of my team mates would say - "The team leader got this crazy idea of cycling from Bangkok to Phuket". Yes, we got the cheapest bicycles we could find - half of them single speeds - and we travelled, with our luggage, for 6 days from the capital to the renound island of Phuket. We had a week to spare before we would join with the Asia Centre Foundation. So the idea came to cycle from Bangkok to Phuket. A gruelling 860 kilometers. After coming overland...
Good day, friends and family from a cold land down under. The last 7 weeks, Work Your Way 2015 spent working on sheep farms doing lamb marking. Global Challenge expeditions has been working with Noble Management Australia for the last 5 years. Each year, the Work Your Way group spent about 2 months with the Willersdorf family. They are dedicated in what they do, working sheep with a lot of...
After hearing the global family's stories. We had an awsome time bonding in the "bush". Also had a great week of bible teachings and discipleship. Looking forward for what is to come. . .
Good Day friends. My global challenge training is finished and went well. On Wednesday 3 teams will be flying to Dar essalam, Tanzania from where we will go our separate ways. The last couple of weeks the Global family has invited us into their community and trained us well for the nations. We have been exposed to teachers and mentors from all over the world, importing value into our lives. I've learned so much and experienced practical Christianity. If you step out in faith god will mobilise you through his Spirit. I can truly say Jesus is at the centre...
LIFE ON THE ISLAND As on many islands you expect to get a lot of palm trees layered with coconuts, white sandy beaches and a friendly local greeting you in a vibrant tongue telling you to enjoy your stay on the island. Fiji is much the same. It consists of 333 islands with two main "bigger" islands . The people are extremely warm and relational orientated and your watch is only used to tell you when it's time for your next meal. According to history, Fijians came over from Africa with "big canoes" in the 1800's. Not hard to believe....

Loas, crazy buddhists new year, exotic food and ice coffee. This is some of the things that make Laos unique. We had the privilege to work with the youth of Loas, hosting two youth camps. Teaching English, guitar and leadership skills. Got to hear amazing testimonies and minister at a human trafficing centre. But the hidden secret was really the people of Loas. They blessed us so much. The church mostly underground went out of their way to serve us. Most of them taking annual leave to host us. The relationships we build was solid based on Jesus love. ....
