North-Bound spent the day in Hong Kong as a stop-over to Delhi, India! Took the bus... tried real Chinese cuisine... saw the harbor... posed with the Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan stars... and looked like real tourists with our cameras in this big city! We are boarding in 2 hours time and will arrive in Delhi around 02:00 am. Will be in Delhi until Friday to get to know more of India first hand. Will travel to Cotta (orphanage) on saturday... What a privilege!

I knew there was something about this country that drew me to it the moment we received our itineraries in the beginning of the year.
Of all the places in India He chose one of the most beautiful. Just to recap… We have been in India for the last 5 weeks. Ministries have been set out for our time up to now but the last week in India was very much unplanned. We are only flying out to Bangkok on Sunday morning. Our travel budget is very limited and all odds seemed to be against us going to the mountains in the North of India. We prayed together and trusted God to lead us. In short the team received the following from the Lord (and...
We are on a race!!! We hope we are winning... :-) We were greeted by the air-hostess this morning with a pleasant sentance... "sincronize your watches". The challenge is simple. Complete a list of tasks and sight-seeing challenges in Bangkok and surrounding areas. The finish line is tomorrow night 20:00 in Phuket! From eating sticky rice and mango, riding through the streets with a took-took, rasting stinky feet fruit, feeding fish, taking the train, beeing threatened for jumping on grass, seeing a palace to meeting locals. What a privilage! We are however still on our way to our final destination. Soo...

Ganga river, Varanasi Spriritual gurus next to the Ganga river, Varanasi The work-your-way team met up with us at the main bazaar this afternoon... felt like seeing family! Jai masih ki! (I greet you in the name of Christ) Northbound spent our lay-over in Hong Kong. Taking a bus into the city, doing window shopping and spending time with the locals was a great way to start the journey! We arrived in New Delhi at 03:00 am and arranged for 3 local taxis to take us (and the backpacks) to the main bazaar. What a country! We spent the first 4 days in Delhi getting settled into the ‘Indian way’ of doing things. Taking hose showers, eating samoosas and chapattis, enjoying the aircon in the metro and experiencing...
