Been in Bethlehem is an overwhelming feeling !! We are living just down the hill from MANGER square.. The Bling Bling team are living alone for the week and doing ministy in the Palestinian Refugee Camps. We have had an amazing time of orientation about the current situation between Israel and Palestine - i now realise how blinkered and uninformed i have been of whats going on around us... Its Friday night and its my second last day at home before i embark on a journey of a lifetime! I am feeling very excited but also rather nervous. Packing a backpack of 15kgs for a year takes some hectic planning!! I am looking forward to getting rid of material baggage and walking in the Lords fullness. For me the greatest sacrifice this year will be leaving family and friends and missing my closest friends wedding.
