When I think of India, I think of poverty, a sense of hopelessness and a nation in desperate need of a savior. These where some of the things I firs noticed when I entered the country. That was all I saw until we arrived at the orphanage. The children welcomed us with warm smiles and lots of love! We staid with them for 2 weeks, giving and receiving love while painting their school. Malaysia has been very interesting, hot and beautiful. We started out with a bang when we got our challenge in KL. Had the privilege to spend 2 days at a beautiful beach, and are currently working at a school for underprivileged children. We met up with a few interesting people along the way. Some was entertaining and gave us a good laugh and some blessed us with more than we could ask for. We even met up with people from SA. They check our passports everywhere we go. Before we climb on a train, at the internet caf閽s and the moment we arrive in a new town. They keep on saying it抯 for our protection. In small towns it抯 the worst! At some places they send police 搖ndercover?in casual wear, to the same hotel抯 we stay at, to watch our every move.
