As part of our mandate to reach impoverished areas in the world we have a strong mission to look after orphans.
Thus one of our ongoing projects has been the consistent investing into the lives of orphans in India.
Over the past few years significant amounts of energy and funds have been ploughed into two orphanages in India that GCEX has a special relationship with.
Despite this some parts of the orphanages are in serious disrepair and need urgent attention.
In September and December this year two teams are preparing to leave for India on an Impact India expedition.
During these two expeditions the teams are planning, in faith, to overhaul the Kitchen of one orphanage and paint the girls’ hostile. In addition they are also planning to provide the boys with a new cricket kit.
Over the past few years the kitchen has slowly been deteriorating and is currently in bad shape and unhygienic. This is a serious need to be addressed. Repairs will therefore be on a big scale and a qualified plumber and masons are traveling along.
The costs of the planned reparations are significant and currently a
mount to about R30 000.
Would you not consider donating financially to this project and see the improvement of hundreds of orphans’ living conditions?
