Wow! A land that made us and broke us!.... The Churchof God Wirld Missions is a tight run ship with little room for floundering - which is a great thing really... a vision was revealed and the team are running full steam ahead with that which God revealed... AMEN! What a privaledge to be part of such a dynamic ministry! We all grew and grew tired - truly experieced what it meant to be living off the Holy Spirits overflow!!!!

Our schedule was as follows:
Morning: House to house evangelism (this is composed of few priorities: the handing out of tracts for that evenings crusades, the promtion of teh crusade as well as the follow up of all those prayed fpr the previous night. This means walking throuought the different communities into the islander's houses and not beingh attacked by the dogs or the chickens... yes the chickens!!!!!) But they welcomed us (most) and again proved how big a-heart the Phillipines nation really has...

Afternoon: After luch we hosted a feeding scheme... this a 2 hour + childrens ministry program in which we introduce them to the church, play games and ultimately provide them with a warm meal... tiring, yes, but so worth while - the chilren are amazing... they steal your heart and love so uncondirionally it made us question if we have ever loved at all!
Evening: THE CRUSDAES!!!!

For many the idea of a crusade is a very new concept... BUT what a way of reachng the nations! It was like a mini show (if I have to state it like that) where we capture the love of Christ!!! IT started off with praise and worship with a stunning band, followed my various dances from the Global yeam as well as the Youth Impact (who are, by the way, an unspirational group of teenages committed to Christ and stop at nothing to live for Him alone!), them we did our drama (available for viewing on Daniel Prinsloo page and youtube), followed by a sermon and an alter call... After that we prayed for aa those who received Christ as wll as for those who needed healing.... SHOO!!!!! the we dealt out clothes :) WHAT A NIGHT!

Spiritually impactual, we continued in this fashion for 12 days of solid ministry, pouring out all we had on 4 islands! And God confirmed His blessing on our work with Ps 97:1 "The Lord reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlines be glad" AMEN

We pray for the Phillipines for the relief of idolatry on the islands, rge release of the spirit of confusion among the people and the stronghold of gambling on the nation.

FUN FACTS:

* 7106 islands make up the Phillipines
* if you visit only each for only 1 day... it would take you 24 years to see them all!
* cock fighting is a national sport
* kareoke should be as well
* we visited during St. Cruz festival (24 hours non stop party music... aaarrrggg!)
* the biggest speakers we have ever seen above!

Our means af transport :) and the WONDERFUL girl we met on the ferry who helped us with our challenge.. (yes we received a challenge on our way to Manila where we got to see the sughts of the main city... yay!)

God is good... love SHRIS
