Blue TEam strikes again!: India edition

 

As of yesterday morning, blue team started yet another adventure. At breakfast, the greater southbound team was surprised with a challenge to get from Mousoorie to New Delhi. The tasks: near to impossible, The Purpose of getting back to Delhi: achievable only with God’s help (seeing as we were given $0 for the challenge). Regardless, we set out. We set out with Strength and with Honor and with Delhi in our future.

Workin'it out in Fusagasuga, Colombia

 Where else could a team of laymen have a mud fight, eat incredible Colombian food, and finish a HUGE rerouting of a sewage system project in less than two weeks?  Well, in Fusagasuga you can if you are the Blue team. Yes!, the five of us embarked on this massive project with our baby soft hands and frail backs only to complete the project as burly Russian like work women and man who conquered the tough Colombian terrain.

We have officialy been in Jeffrey's for 3 Days, met our team and all the awesome people that came back from the one year journeys. Really looking forward to what's coming the next 80 Days and really letting God take our hands and leading us all the way. Received our first challenge today AND WE ARE THE BLUE TEAM( aka Know as the Best) hehe, running around Jeffrey's competing against the other team. We're really getting to know each other and already meeting new people. Glorifying God in all ways is our mission and just letting loose and letting God....

Hurricane Agatha that struck the south of Mexico, Guatemala and El Salvador has left a wake of destruction, devastation and dead bodies. With countless families loosing lives, homes and possessions we find ourselves in the midst of great need. Having hit on 29 May 2010, shortly after the Northbound team left, the effects are still being felt with problems far from over. No NiKoN rAguA...

Moncara, Peru through Quito in Ecuador (and some Columbia!) then Cosat Roca and finally in Nicargua... Our firt set up ministry in 15 days began... After spemding time apart and some of the team spending time in the HIlton hotel (flight got cancelled to Panama and so were booked in for a night) Southbound refocussed our thoughts and began zoning in on new opportunities to serve. In the past days we as team we encouraged to really engage in time with the Lord and evalute our journey. We got the chance to be emotionally , physically and spirirually rejuvinated. YAY!...
