Hakuna Matata!! It means No Worries for the rest of your life!

Jambo Mzungo (hello white man)

What an experience we have had in Kenya and Tanzania!
Getting around in these parts of the world has been very exciting! One can go either by foot / boda (motorcycle) / matatu (minivan) / shuttle (bus) and the price is ALWAYS negotiable!!!! Once you are in your preferred budget-allowed mode of transport it gets very entertaining with all the people that you meet as well as the incredibly loud music and neon green blue and purple lights that comes as part of the package!! When going on a long 10hour bus ride you get hassled with locals trying to sell you anything from water or coke or nuts or even boabab tree fruit...really enjoying the blessings of a free water or orange juice and biscuits!! And road rules...what road rules?! If you see a gap then its up for grabs for you...the road does not only consist of the dedicated tarred area - nope...the gravel on BOTH sides of the road can also be driven on...and too bad for the people driving where you want to drive...if your vehicle is bigger..then the other driver needs to make another plan which usually consists of either driving off road through major potholes or sudden stopping... But the Lord has been so amazing and has completely directed our travel by sending us incredible connections as we get off one transport trying to figure out where to go next or where to sleep next...not for one second has the Lord left us alone having to figure out these things by ourselves! Hakuna Matata!!

We've also had some incredible worship sessions either at church or in the prayer room or singing along with a group of kiddies infront of our host's gate :) its been really amazing just being able to be in His presence...one of my favourite worship moments was when we did the 24 hour prayer session and everyone got at least an hour of prayer in the prayer room alone...I had the 8pm to 9pm slot...it was beautiful... I was sitting on the floor crossed legged and really experience Jesus sitting in front of me - also cross legged... And I was able to worship Him as if he was super close...I didnt need to sing to the heavens coz He was right there with me... What a moment! I pray for heaps more intimate moments like those! Its wpnderful being able to experience Jesus on such an intimate level! Hakuna Matata -He is such an amazing person! I love Him so much!

We met amazing people with such a love for Jesus! Our hosts Joy and Anya really touched our hearts with their passion for connecting people, especially business people and how they can improve their business with Jesus as their foundation and guiding every decision they make! Our time at the school was also a big blessing, pastor Chris - the head master was so good to us! Everyday he blessed us with Kenya tea (might not have been the best cup of tea I have ever had in my life...but it was a blessing regardless..) He has an amazing passion for children and for education! The children of course was so full of love! Amazing how much love can be shared when language isnt a common ground... I really learned once again that you need to allow Jesus to live through you, be an open vessel, because thats the the main purpose - connect people with Jesus! And that is irrelevant of language, culture, wealth, gender and age! Hakuna Matata! Jesus loves everyone!

Our week at Distant Relatives Backpackers in Kilifi was so relaxing! A week of rest was definitely a big blessing and it was a great time catching up with the other two teams again!!! But we are finally about to set out on our South American adventure!! Looking forward to what the Lord will do through our team and in our team and in my life!!

Hakuna Matata!! No worries mate!!
