Hello everybody greetings from South America!
I've had a fantastic time in Africa and can't wait to come back! So far on the journey I've done my best to really experienced the culture of the people living here and I think I've done well. Being a part of the good team makes this task easier as it allows me to go into the local markets and get the real local experience. Our time in Kenya was very cool there was a range of events we participated in including, helping at a local school, building a prayer room, and constructing a chicken coop at the hosts house. God worked though me a lot in Kenya giving me strength and the endurance I needed to succeed the tasks at hand. My favourite part of it all was that I was able to find time to bring out my Penny Board and tackle some of the rough Kenyan roads. I also learned how skateboarding the streets is a really good and easy ministry point, because of most people around not knowing what I'm doing it automatically draws people in to me. Therefore it gives me the opportunity to share about what I'm doing this year and where I'm going. And it's a lot of fun to skate in all the local places, another big highlight for me was skateboarding on Fort Jesus knowing that probably nobody had ever skated there before, and in claiming back ground where ever I ride. So my over all feeling of Africa is that I'm in love with it and I can't wait to come back!
