...the walk of faith (Luke10)...

We ended our time in Guatemala with a Luke 10 journey. A journey of Faith and trusting in the Lord for everything during that time. From the food we are about to eat TO the place to stay at TO the people's life's your going to touch.

It is wonderful to look back and see the God's Hand in everything that happened...

Our Luke 10 journey started off in Panajachel... 5 fold.

Marcel experienced from the Lord in a very distinct way that we should go to Chichicastenango (Chichi in short)... a city not to far form Panajachel.

 So we hitch hiked...

One of our transport mediums... going in the direction of Chichi...

In Chichi we met up with 'Manos de Jesus' (Hands of Jesus), a ministry group building houses for widows and feeding these families (with all the children).

The feeding program of 'Manos de Jesus'.

At the house we stayed at ('moust casa de flora') ... the first 2 nights... until the Lord show us we need to move on.

On day 2 we headed out for prayer walking to a mountain where the people worship an idol.

The way to the idol.

 Sacrifices on the hill top...

It is on this hilltop where the Lord had a divine appointment with a mother and her daughter. They sell little idols for a living. Although being completely Spanish, I started sharing to them form a Spanish Bible.

From Ps 143:1... Hear my prayer, o Lord, give ear to my supplications! In your faithfulness answer me, and in Your righteousness.

Also form John 3:16-18 and Ex 20:1-5. I believe that the Lord really came and touch their harts and souls. And after reading and asking 'Me comprende' (do you understand), we all prayed form the ladies...

Afterward the said something of 'padre'  and 'infermo'... so we we down to their little house to pray to their sick father. And the Holy Spirit MANIFESTED in that house. He came and not only restored health but touch their hearts...but also showed us real compassion for people (a heart for the nations) and God's mighty works through ordinary people willing to GO.

The two woman on the hill top.

After we have left they packed up their idols and left.

By a divine appointment we ended up at ASELSI...

A ministry consisting of a bible institute and a medical clinic operated by two wonderful people originally from the USA.

We shared at a sell meeting... and the people was amazed with our faith journey.

In the following days we helped out at the clinic. People from all around came to get help in the physical needs and are also served in their Spiritual needs.

Some of the young children that came along... A kids program were held for them.

During our time there a American group came to visit and serve as well... in a matter of few days we became great friends and family in Christ.

 Time of fellowshipping...

people from corners of the world...

sharing how GREAT our GOD is!!

Also some k9 friends, keeping guard over us during the evenings.

We left the staff at ASELSI being blessed greatly and leaving with a tear in the eye as a family in Christ.

The last look back at our time in Chichicastenango...

The Lord blessed us every single moment, without missing one meal, one chance to change someones life OR just strengthen the weak hands. The hands of God's people, doing His will.
