Mahosheni - The city on a hill that cannot be hidden

The journey began on a Friday 4 February... and what a journey it has been!
It has been some of the most amazing days of the year thus far.

We helped build a rondawel, we learnt to speak Xhosa, we prayed, we made new friends, we dug a toilet, we prayed some more, we dug a vegetable garden and we worshipped BUT most importantly we were part of what God is doing in Mahosheni changing the lives of the people for all eternity and making Mahosheni a city on a hill that cannot be hidden.

We asked some of the team members how they experienced the week... this is what they said:

Erica - " It was awesome to see how the childrens lives changed"

Christopher - "A week of real blessing"

Lisa - "'n goeie ervaring en ek het baie van die mense geleer"

Estie - "What a great priviledge and a blessing"

Jereny - "A great priviledge and honour to see the peoples hunger for God"

Jonathan - "If this is what God can do in a few days I cant wait for what lies ahead"

So it seems that the culture shock, sleeping on the dung floor, all the flies, the spiritual warfare and sickness was all worth it in serving our great King and Saviour the Lord Jesus Christ.
