It's almost been a week, and we're loving Tunisia!!! Some things that have been happening. . . . .
We arrived in Tunisia on Sunday after two days of travelling by bus and plane and met up with an old Global Challenger at the airport in Tunis.
She was kind enough to let us stay with her for a few days until we could get accomadation.
From there we've been meeting with very interesting and kind people who have been showing and teaching us about Tunisia.
Jamie and Emme having fun on Cairo's airport On our way to Tunisia
A few things to know about Tunisia:
They have traditional tea that everyone drinks: mint tea, and it's found everywhere- including market places as you walk
Stoffel and Joy having some tea and pastries Emme and Jamie enjoying theirs
Eventhough it's Africa it's actually cold in Tunisia right now, but that should never stop one from doing the tradition of your journey. . . blowing bubbles!!!
Joy spreading the happiness and carrying out our tradition for the first time
An important thing to remember when being a tourist is: There's always a catch. Like we learned walking in the street one afternoon when a man with a falcon came and put it on our shoulders. At
first it was so much fun and we were laughing at the silly pictures it made. . .

. . .and then he made us pay.
Tunisia has some beautiful parks- and funny looking rodent mascots to promote cleanliness{ go figure}

Tunisia hasn't had a game of Ninja, so we had the honor of playing it for the first time in Tunisian history- right on the trainstation.

In Tunisia even grown-ups get to ride ponies>

We've been having a good time, seeing places, meeting people, and interceding for this beautiful country. Please keep us in your prayers, and the Tunisian people as well
