Faith, Love, Family

These blogs showcase the Love Jesus has for us and also the Love in my new family: Westbound. Every time you read one of the blogs I pray that you will feel the Love in the Family and that you will feel part of this family of mine. Enjoy every blog and see what happens when Faith is put into action.

Scarlet

The most meaningful color (well that’s what I think) will most likely be scarlet red. Why? Well it represents a few things like love and blood. It is also the color that can be seen as mysterious and mesmerizing. When a person wears that color, it is as if there is more than meets the eye and that you must dive deep with him/her to see the real person on the inside. With that in mind, enjoy number 13 and see how God changed my heart and perspective through my Luke 10 team named…

Scarlet

Scarlet (in my heart) showed the blood of Jesus so I already knew something big is coming our way, but please read my previous blog which tells about the experience. The real aim for this blog is about two woman who met God in super cool ways. Those two where my team mates and I wouldn’t have it any other way (best team ever). Is it coincidence that the team was like this? No. This was Jesus. Anyway, back to the point. Now these two woman already inspired me the day we heard who in our teams were. The excitement and joyfulness was beaming from their faces and I could feel there hearts jumping for joy as well.

So during our Luke 10 God clearly showed me that He wants these woman to walk in the calling He had for them. God had big plans (just keep on reading). Now the woman knew as well as I did what God wanted from them. One morning we sat around the table and started talking about everything God called us into, but while they were talking I found myself in awe of the faith these two has. The way they were speaking (still speaking as well) moved me. It caught my attention and kept it. I was lost in the beauty of their words and it drew me deeper in. I saw something…something…that was unmissable…beautiful. I asked myself the whole time: “What could it be?” Well the thing is that was Jesus. Right there God opened my heart and my eyes and (to be completely honest) it was something I was looking for for a long long time.

Here’s the thing okay. Picture this (this is literally what I saw): One of them talking over Google translate to our host about Jesus. The conversation building up with laughter and curiosity. And then…flames everywhere. Holy Spirit lighting a fire in her soul to “burn” the people around her and wasn’t that flame burning. It was spreading like a wildfire and you can see it on the host’s face. The craving for Jesus and thankfulness that there is someone who loves her for who she is. She kept on burning and that flame grew bigger and bigger and bigger and (believe me) if you see her you’ll know what I’m talking about. Then the other one enjoying God’s sweet presence like ripe cherries. Seeing how all her actions are based on what God says was moving. It was almost as if she had a sweet Godly presence around her. Every move she made was a God move. Also how that same woman overcame doubt (absolutely beautiful) and realizing that she can use His voice to give that sweetness to the people around her. Still to this very day she is walking in her Dad’s footsteps and doing everything that is based on His voice (believe me, she said some things the other day that will most likely stay with me forever). Then both of them just simply loving the family and each other. A love that I can’t explain. One that is relentless and unconditional.

I don’t really have the words to describe these two woman and the beauty I saw on the Luke 10. I think the best I can do is by using these words: Jesus is attractive and these two woman will be showing that beauty for many years to come. This is my family. This is…
