Our time her in China has been a great learning experience. Living and working with our contact here has been so great. Personally, it feels like I have seen and tasted the live of going, committing, living, and staying where God has called you to serve。 I realized that there is so much at stack to go when you are not ready。I can not deny the value I see in being mentored and guided, but there is also the urgency for the harvesters to go out and reap the harvest。 Being here and seeing the need for the harvester makes me think hard。
Lately I have been asking myself a few questions:
Am I to comfortable to set my feet out to become a fulltime harvester? Do I value my life back in South Africa more than the lost souls。 Is the principals and values of God's Kingdom my focus and direction。 I need to search my heart and look if there is anything that is against the principles of God's Kingdom。I desire to be likeminded with the Holy Spirit。
The beauty and uniqueness of each culture we have visited has made a great impact in my live。 I see the unique and otherness of God in each place。 What has been most encouraging to see is the difference in those who are following the truth。 Here in China we have met a likeminded lady who works at the local market。 Here face literally shines with joy and love。 That you do not see anywhere else。 The difference between those who has see the light and those who have not, is visible here in China。
Let us realize the importance of people perishing and dying of spiritual drought。 This is something we see every day, but is it something we are doing something about? If you know and love the Lord Jesus Christ realize you have live-giving water to smooth the deep painful thirst of somebody。
Love and grace to all。
