Panamama

What rhymes with Panama?

Mama.

And what rhymes with mama?

Snacks and toiletries.

139 days after hugging our moms goodbye at OR Tambo, it was finally time for them (unfortunately not all of them) to hop on a plane and fly half way across the world to spend time with the team. They came to visit the one child that they sent out but left with 10 new children that they will welcome home as their own.

Two days in Panama City and five days in Boquete offered many opportunities for our moms to get to know the team and to experience things true Global style. This included sleeping on the floor on blow up mattresses, jumping in multiple chicken busses with ALL their bags and traveling on an overnight bus.

It was such a blessed and refreshing time for both the team and the moms and we are so grateful for all the effort that went into their visit. We miss them already!

Our time in Panama before the arrival of our parents was also blessed beyond what we imagined it would be. Pastor Bill Wilbur and his wife Anne made us feel more than welcome in their humble town of Gamboa whilst we stayed in their church. Situated in the rain forest, right on the Panama Canal, we were spoiled with the best that Panama has to offer.

The team really feels that God is starting something new in us as we journey into South America. Plans to take us deeper in prayer, worship and to teach us what it really means to surrender to His plans and processes.

We are so excited for the next 14 weeks in South America and we look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for us as a team and as individuals. He has proved time and again how He loves and cares for us and we are so excited to go deeper with him.

We are still really trusting God for finances for this last stretch of our journey. If anyone feels on their heart to donate money to the team, here are the details
