In Penang we joined a YWAM program for drug addicts, prostitutes, homeless people and even lady boys. It was a beutiful place to show God's love, the most hart breaking thing for me is that some of the people didn't believe they could go to heaven. So when I evangelised I usually started with, "Do you want to go to heaven right now ?" People were stunned at this and usually said something like, "I can't." Then they would ask who are you and I would say ," The brother of Jesus Christ and my Father is God." Eyes would usually grow wider, but their harts would be soften when I suggested He wants them to be His children as well.Â
The only reason I could be so bold that it almost seemed natural, was going through sufferings... yes! Doubts, trails and all types of tribulations. Because thats my Fathers way of building His temple in me, Ephesians 2:19-22. I loved Penang the man in charge, Ed from Holland was the coolest person I came to know. He knows Brother Andrew's ministry and the man himself, Brother Andrew wrote God's Smuggler and Secret Believers. And Ed himself was awesome!
In Penang there is a huge number of lady boys and looking at their physical state of being transformed from a man to a woman, is a hart breaking situation if they want to become followers of Jesus. But this Jesus gave me a revelation of, that your flesh will be restored to its full glory, Luke 20:34-36. So all damage will be gone in the resurrection as we all whom believed God was and is our Father shall be restored. There is a verse that says there is two bodies, a heavenly one and an earthly one, 1 Corinthians 15:40-44. The flesh will die and the Spirit which can't be destroyed will rise, so there is hope for everyone!Â
