Yes, you all wanna stay in Gautengeleng... at least you should!
We had such a blessed weekend away (14 and 15 January) with many previous Global Challengers who now live in the Gauteng and the surrounding area (and even had some visitors from China and Jeffrey’s Bay – now that’s commitment!).
We all headed out to Hartbeespoort Dam – what a beautiful part of our country. It’s very green after a wonderful rainy season – even the dam is green… and the water in the swimming pool where we were staying! But that’s not enough to stop a Global Challenger :-)
What a wonderful time to meet up with Global Challengers from 2007 until 2011. Sharing so much in common – GCEX experiences, a heart for the Kingdom and the Holy Spirit within us testifying that we have a deep bond as brothers and sisters in Christ. We enjoyed a good time around the fire, a bit of table tennis, some pool volleyball, and we braaied twice (yes, twice – that’s what we do in Gauteng)
It was a blessing to share testimonies of what God is doing in our lives, to share memories of our time with GCEX remembering what God has done, praying together, worshipping together and ultimately glorifying God together!
(Hebrews 10:23-25)
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
We will be meeting together more as the year progresses. If you are in the Gauteng area and would like to join us, please contact me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. or request to join our Facebook group (Global Challenge Gauteng)
