This will be my bed, my room, my home for the next few months - you thought your flat was small?!
After a hectic shopping spree to take all that is needed for a year - and needs to fit into a 60 litre backpack - I was on my way to JBay...
5 Weeks of training and some CRAZEEE experiences later, and I'm a richer person. All that is left of this time is pictures, memories, stories that will be told and a changed heart... We had some great teachers with us, Uncle Floyd and Retief shared some of the things on their hearts and in doing so they touched the lives of young people that will reach others all over the world.
We served at a local Primary School in Jeffreys Bay - cleaned some toilets, painted the buildings, sorted out a VERY chaotic store room, shared our stories and the story of Jesus with the teachers and the kids, and poured out our hearts in prayer for each of them...
TRANSKEI...
I had the privilege to visit Norah and her husband, which I met last year in Coffee Bay. I've been so touched by their life story then, and even more so now. They live in FAITH, they LOVE more than I'm able to, and they WALK what we only talk about. They ARE church. They give their lives to those around them and are so content... I thank God for a family in the hills of the Transkei that truly walks in the footsteps of Jesus.

Detour to Mdumbi
On the floor, with my legs crossed, I sit outside the mall in PE. A small boy come and sits next to me and ask for something to eat... In a moment, stripped of every care in the world, I share with him the Bread of Life... I share Jesus and he responds - just as any child would to a loving Father and a saving Friend. There on the floor, in front of the mall in PE Jesus meets him, just as he is, because He loves him enough not to forget about a hungry boy, without a father to feed him. Praise God for a chance to live!!!
