I was confronted with this question a few days ago, and at that time I could not. So now I want to share this challenge with you, as well as give you a taste of what it can be and must be like...give answers to people so simple that kids can understand...you ready?
Question from a small boy, after he was taught that Jesus lives in him and he lives in Jesus. Usually kids take it very literally when you give them answers, and this boy took it like that. He asked the teacher: if Jesus is in me, does that mean that I am bigger than he is? Does it mean that He is in me, like in my stomach? Well, like all adults the teacher said that Jesus was in him because it was just so, not anything else. So the boy refused to go to church anymore, because His savior was smaller than he was.
After a time, and I am letting alot of other information out, there came an elder and he first had to wrestle with the question as well. He gave the simple illustration : if you are a glass, then you have to fill it with Jesus. Let him rule your heart. Then He is in you, but that doesnt mean you are bigger, it just means he takes control of your life. So then if you have to be in Him, then you have to be the glass that is in a bigger jug. So, in other words, small children words, Jesus is the jug, and He is bigger than you, and He is the water in and around you, which makes Him even bigger.
I know this is very simple, basics simple, but that is what I believe the church must be like. Very simple with the gospel, simple, basic and direct. If we can tell people the essence of the gospel, without making it a big persons story, then I believe you will have more effective results. This is my opinion, and you may differ from me. I also know that all situations must be different, but if it is kept simple, then I believe everyone will understand and remember it!

So why make it difficult, when it was written directly and basicly simple???
Peace and love to you.
Paul
