Meer oor my...

Ek is in 'n koshuis waar ek betrokke is by 'n hele paar aktiwiteite. Ek is ook betrokke in my kerk en is 'n volunteer by twee gemeenskapsorganisasies. My gunsteling seisoen is Lente, kleur is pers of rooi, kos is my ma s'n, Bybelboek is 1 Johannes, sangers is Gian Groen, Alanis Morisette en Laurika Rauch, boek is (as ek nou moet kies) "The curious incident of the dog in the night time" en ek het so baie gunteling flieks, maar "Little Miss Sunshine" en "The Darjeerling Limited" staan uit op die oomblik. Ek verkies laat bo vroeg, koud bo warm, bos bo see en kolle bo strepe.

I realized everyone cannot do Afrikaans, so here goes in English...I am a third year Psychology student from Stellenbosch.  I  love people, adventure and stories.  I enjoy reading and watching movies,  I often jog or go for walks and hikes and I spend much time visiting with friends or family. I like learning foreign languages, eating foreign food and trying out new things. Furthermore, I love horseback riding, cooking, writing and theatre. I am in a residence where I am involved in many activities. I am also involved in my church and volunteer at two community organizations. I am a middle child, but I do not think that I suffer from the infamous middle child complex. I have very good relationships with all my family members, including my three dogs. I like aurum lilies, steak, laughing, thunder, fluffy slippers, watermelon and popcorn. My favourite season is Spring, colour is purple or red, food is my mother's, book in the Bible is 1 John, singers are Gian Groen, Alanis Morisette and Laurika Rauch, book (if I really had to choose) is "The curious incident of the dog in the night-time" and I have too many favourite movies, but at the moment "Little Miss Sunshine" and "The Darjeerling Limited" stand out. I prefer late above early, cold above hot, bush above sea and dots above stripes. I do not like birds, peppermint chocolate, aggression, yellow, 8:00 classes or plastic people.

I decided to go on 80-days, because I have been searching for holiday work abroad for some time and when Global Challenge came to speak to us after church one evening, I had a really excited feeling that this is what I should do instead. I prayed about it and still felt that it is what I should do. So, if I get the money, I will accept that it is God's will. I am really looking forward to it, so I hope it is!
