Who am I?

Hi! My name is Philip Pretorius. But who exactly is…Philip Pretorius?

I think the first thing you should know is that I’m the type of guy that always seeks out laughter and tries to see the fun in, well everything! I was born In Pretoria and grew up in Pretoria.  I am currently 18 years old and proud to say that I’m about to finish my school-career.

Thus I have come to the place in my life where I have had to ask myself the important question… What exactly is it I want to do with the rest of my life? 

 After a lot of thinking, research and most of all, a lot of prayer, God made it very clear to me what I should do with my life next year…Global Challenge Expeditions. 

Like Global Challenge promises to offer, I have no doubt that God chose this platform for me to have the opportunities to “serve, pray, love, share, witness and impact lives forever. And just as importantly, my own life and the way I look at life will change.”

Just the thought of dedicating a year of my life to go out into the world and living the life that I am 110% sure God wanted me to live, and doing that with people that feels exactly the same, gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside!

There are some hurdles to overcome first though…
 (“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous hand”-Isaiah 41:18)
 Hurdles witch will clearly be easily overcome with Gods helping hand.

One of these hurdles is collecting the R86 900.00 needed to fund the Expedition.
