Man! Have we had an amazing time! God has really been strengthening our relationship with Him as we build relationships with the people here in Ubatuba.
One of the highlights here was definitely going to the Rehab Center to do ministry. Both Jean and Chantelle brought word and we even had D-groups with them. Oh! And we engaged in a very very awesome game of soccer with them. Man, they all play like pro’s! It is so awesome to see God unite broken men to be warriors for His Kingdom.
We have been building relationships and discipling people, and we have learned so much. God has shown us to be intentional about EVERYTHING we do. So we have been making friends with the intention of discipling them and taking them one step further in their walk with God. As we walk with them God takes us further as well. So we made a point of meeting new people and including them in activities, and they also invite us to do things with them.
It was also such a blessing to go to ‘’Tribal”. It is where some Native Americans still stay. The government wants them to integrate into
the community but they refuse. The chief ( I know right!? A real chief!) des allow Agape Church to come and do ministry once a month, which is really awesome. Now we know where Pocahontas comes from, hehe, we met her whole family and we met Brother bear as well. (jokes. They just look like Pocahontas:D)
Oh my word so many people have invited us for meals! The people in Brazil really are a giving culture. I have really been blown away by how welcoming and generous they are. People in Brazil….4 things:
- relationships
- food
- generosity
- surfing:) (yes, we did go surfing in Brazil!)
Erin gave English lessons and it went really well, but sadly we don’t
have any photos :( Erin also played keyboard with the church band at Agape. It was so nice to see her praising the same Lord along with Brazilians :) Gehta sang a song she wrote with the whole band playing and she joined the dance ministry. Erika (who visited us in South Africa) even taught us another dance! It was sooooo much fun!
We visited a school here in Ubatuba and We did the heart drama and Bettina gave her testimony and we had worship with them. God really open the floodgates of Heaven! WOW! So many kids gave their hearts to thee Lord and we invited them to go to Agape Church. Whoohoo! More pearls for God’s Kingdom!!!
We started praying for Columbia this week and we are allowed to start getting excited:) We are climbing down the mountain and debriefing. Thank-You Jesus for Brazil!
See you in Columbia!!!!

Hey Silver Team!
Thanks so much for sharing the stories and pictures. It is truly a great blessing to hear how and see God is working in your lives, your team, and with the local ministries. So amazing to see people from every area of the world all worshiping the same awesome God with the gifts He gives us! GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!
I am reminded of the song "Breathing the breath" by Matt Redman:
We have nothing to give
That didn't first come from Your hands
We have nothing to offer You
Which You did not provide
Every good, perfect gift comes from
Your kind and gracious heart
And all we do is give back to You
What always has been Yours
Lord, we're breathing the breath
That You gave us to breath
To worship You, to worship You
And we're singing these songs
With the very same breath
To worship You, to worship You
Who has given to You
That it should be paid back to him?
Who has given to You
As if You needed anything?
From You, and to You, and through You
Come all
things, O Lord
And all we do is give back to You
What always has been Yours
Amen Amen Amen. Let us lift our minds UP! Yes Lord. We love you Jesus. Thank you Jesus. mwah
