Moving, Changing, New Beginnings - China

My time in China started a bit different than some of my other team members. The moving crew  (Me, Madelein, Miga and Coetzee) helped our contact's family to move to a new house for the first five days. We had so much fun, but worked really hard. We actually got "elevator lack", because we went from one building's 10th floor to the other building's 5th floor every day with heavy boxes, in an elevator. Up and down, up and down ! But yes, we are Global Challengers, we can overcome anything... why?? Cause we have Jesus on our sides people ! Hehe

We joined the rest of the team for the last few days and oh boy, they were all lovesick and romanced like crazy... by Jesus of course. For them China was a time of God romancing them from the  beginning and that is truly what they have experienced and fortunately we could join in with that experience. Just spending quality time with Him, even if that means - sitting in your pajamas whole day long - which is nice to do by the way :) !  And it was snowing in the middle of spring.

To be honest, we were so busy moving that I started to lack in spending quality time with Jesus. Oh God's Grace. Then He came and remind me once again that I don't have to go to Him, He will always be by my side. He will always follow me even if I'm not coming to Him first. The Lord is with me, He will not forsake me.

Our last day in a small town, Shaga, we climbed out a mountain, very exhausting, but so worth it.  It's a view of mountains on mountains, looking over God's creation. We had time for some Bible study.

Theres freedom in this place, there is freedom when your are at the Lord's feet and in His presence. He will always answer your prayers and give you peace. All the struggles in my heart and all the unanswered prayers were filled with peace !

God showed me that sometimes He wants to move your heart with a few "obstacles", to teach you more about faith, patience and waiting on the Lord.
Then when you overcame those obstacles it changes somethings in your heart, it gives you a new point of view, new perspectives.
Then finally, by God's grace, theres always new beginnings. A life where you can be open and teachable to just more and more of Jesus. Seeking Him and living like Him every day !

Give your heart a chance to be moved, to be changed and to have new beginnings !
