MUTTER MUTTER MUTTER and some photos

There is just one thing that i realised from my time in Cairo and that is how thankful each one of us that grew up in a Christian home/community can be.  We have got ALL the resources necessary to read up on anything that we need or want to but still we as Christians (South Africans) moan and groan and complain about everything.

For us it is an issue just to walk to the bookshop, buy a book and read it where here in Egypt there just isn't ANY Christian bookstore.

We complain and struggle to wake up at 5 in the morning once a week to go to a Christian meeting where here in Egypt they HAVE to wake up at 5 in the morning to the sound of prayers from the Islam community.

We complain because at our work we don't have air conditioning where here in Cairo the Christian community have to sort out the garbage from the city because they can't get any other job because of their faith.

We can learn more about God, anytime of the day but still we use excuses the whole time for why we can't attend this meeting or gathering or whatever or why it isn't a good time to join a bible study group.

I want to challenge EACH one of you guys reading this to stop complaining about everything that is wrong in your point of view (who says your point of view is correct in any case), stop finding excuses why you cant attend Christian gatherings and seminars and start to realise that in our "Christian countries" and communities we are so blessed to have total freedom. Then start to use that resources available to each one of us and literally  use them as MUCH as we can, 24/7, because who knows maybe in 10 or 20 years you wont have the opportunity to go to Christian gatherings in the mornings, or buy a book, or attend bible study groups

Till next time

Blessings
