God is faithful! This is all that I can say after what happened last night. Henro and Welman were out with the scooters when they ran into some Aussies down at the beach. Apparently the one guy commented on Welman’s hair by shouting “Napoleon Dynamite”… some might find this funny. Welman laughed (he found it funny) and they started chatting with them. The end result was sharing of the Good News to the lost and they blessed us with 2000 Baht in return. God is good.
We had the morning to catch up on some backed up journaling, emailing and reading. Some guys went swimming during the late morning and we had a planning session for our Australia leg of the journey. As Welman and Angelo are our food guys, they decided to use some of the money we got blessed with to bless our landlords. Spaghetti bolognaise
with meatballs was what they decided to conjure up. Heavenly! This was the first time that Peter, Marita’s husband, could join us for a meal. It was great to be able to share with him as well. May God bless them and teach them about Himself.
During the afternoon, we spent our time planning a blog video. Hopefully you will find it as amusing and fun as we did when we made it.
Tonight we had supper with Marita again and now they have decided to show us the bar that they run for a living. We are looking forward to meet some people and hopefully share some of our faith. Thank you Jesus for making us free!
