Molo Transkei

Wow this was great! A week in Coffee bay and a week Canzibe. And then The First Challenge. to get back to J bay. It involved true taxi's, police, pigs and afval.

Coffee bay is an amazing place. Beauty beyond believe and full of all kinds of adventure.
Work your way build a fence around the school building "Plankie". (The best looking fence in Transkei) We also destroyed a concrete floor and laid a new one. At one stage there was no water. But there is no problem that God cannot solve. Water was always just a prayer away.

Oom Gerrie's teaching was just mind blowing. THAX to him.

On Sunday we walked to Hole in the wall. It was fun to walk for ours and see the creation of God. We also found a Geocach. And now we are hoping we can find more when we are going around the world .
going into the township to spread the gospel was something new for some of us. We went from home to home talking to the people. Almost none of them understand English. The first day we had a Xhosa lady, Peela, that translated for us. But the second day we went with out a talk. We wen on a search for somebody that understand English and Xhosa. We did not find any one for quite a while. Then Frikkie said. He is now just going to sit here and trust God for a talk. Within an few seconds a lady stepped out of her house. right next to us... Jip she understood English. So we went to her house and told her the gospel. As we went out of their home, 3 kids was walking past. And yet again, one of them understood English. We were still standing on the same spot that we said we are going to trust God for the talk.
This one time we performed a drama for the children. THE STATUE. It is a wordless drama. It was so fun to perform. and the kids loved it. We sang Xhosa songs and shared the gospel to them.
Erens loved to use the Romans road as a tool to share the gospel. He took his phone and Googled Xhosa Bible and the showed them versus in the English Bible and then they read it in Xhosa. It worked good, but only if they understood they must bring their Bible to us. We no understand a little more about the word mimic.
And then, in Umtata, we got our first challenge!! From Umtata back to J bay with R200 per person. First thing was learning a Xhosa song. and buying a live chicken that we need to take to J bay We named him Jasper. In Umtata the nice local people realized that the local robbers were following us and planning on robbing us. But the police helped some of the other teams to get in a save market. We just went to the market by chance. God lead as to the "save zone" before we knew there was danger. From there we jumped into taxi's and got out of town.
We had to catch a pig!
because of the flee out of Umtata most of the teams were traveling together. 32 of us sat in a Ultra city for about 4 hours waiting for a taxi that is 5min away. In that waiting time, somebody blessed all of us with KFC. There was not suppose to be enough chicken for every one and not enough buns either. But God some how made the food more. some of us got seconds and there was also a few buns extra.
We finally got a taxi to J bay. It was a long drive. We arrived at about half past two in J bay. We slept in the mall infront of GLA. The floor was cold but it was under a roof so we were happy.
The Sunday morning we went to Deo Doksa. We ate chicken afval. and give away Jasper to John.
Lastly we want to thank Fishaways in J bay, for letting me blog at the till.

God is good, all the time! All the time God is good!
