MERRY-GO-ROUND

Ongoing.....Everlasting.....Never-ending....


What do you think when you sit on a merry-go-round?

A moment that is intimate, a moment where you are engaged with this merry-go-round and nothing else......going round and round and round and round....you don't know where you are going and at the same time you don't care where you are going........as long as you can dwell in this moment and feel the wind blowing through your hair!

This is how I see worship, how I see a God seeking Lifestyle, an intimate relationship with God.......!!

Recently, while I was sitting on a merry-go-round, during our training time, I was reminded of this picture and how I can link this with everything that I was learning.

Worship, for me, is an ongoing 'moment'....a LIFESTYLE.....just like this 'moment' on the merry-go-round....round and round. When you are on it, nothing else matters.....this is how I want to worship God....every day.....!!

God is the centre-piece of this merry-go-round and when you take it away, when you take your eyes off God you, will start feeling dizzy and fall to the ground. In everything we do, we should keep our eyes on our Saviour, we should consult Him in everything.....we must seek Him all the time!! We should not worry about where God takes us, but allow Him to do as He pleases!!
The circle of the merry-go-round represents a perfect everlasting, ongoing relationship with God.  A relationship with God is not only a once-off thing, but an ongoing journey!!


So approach the merry-go-round.....climb on it........keep your eyes on the centre-piece  and enjoy the ride....
