BIG EXPECTATIONS FOR CANADA

The time in Mexico was fun, and we spent some time with a man that lived in the hostel where we stayed. It was with out a bout a meeting set up by God. Cancun it self was an experience just to be there. On the airport a few ours before we flied out, we got so hungry and didn't have money to buy food, so we sat in a restaurant and ate left over meals. We were experiencing something not a lot of people have the chance to ever do.  We have tasted almost every thing on the menu + we had a hole lot of chips.

After a lot of prayer for visa's and a long wait, we are in CANADA!

The end of Egypt

Our time at Think and do was fun. Frikkie and I sanded a couple of doors and painted a whole bunch of Iron bars. The rest of the team weeded the soccer field and the farm tunnels.

God showing He is in control

The worst part of 2011 is waiting for 2012 to start. I am going on "Work your way" and I am dying to go. This matrix year is just feeling too long.   When I started thinking about who I was going to ask for financial support, I listed 6 people I thought was people who can help me. I enjoy that part of the journey as well, but there is something I realized by going to places like this. There are 2 big groups of wonder to see. The one is "man made." This is a human mind that thought about something and humans that created it. (e.g. Taj Mahal & Pyramids) Sure it is big and must have taken a long time to make,  it has a significance, but for me it is just missing something.

India Project

Work your way is still alive and well. We are running a project in India to help an orphanage to build a kitchen and toilets for them. If we have enough money we would like to build a wall for them. The wall is so that the orphanage can house boys and girls. There are 20 boys in the orphanage and 1 toilet for all of them. They have to make fire in the kitchen at the moment, the smoke is very bad for the people that is working there.

Donations are more than welcome, in fact please donate. :) There is going to be a Work Your Way blog that explains everything in detail. Go check it out. Thanks for all the donations thus far.

Going to Transkei :)

This next 3 weeks is going to be great! I can only say 3 weeks because I have no idea what is going to happen in the forth. But I bet you the forth week is also going to be something amazing. This week we are going to eat on a budget of R12 per day per person. Nice! Die 2 weeks after that, we are going to Transkei. We are going to put up fences, paint and rebuild a school. We do not have a budget for this project. If you want to help us by making a donation...
