Our time in Portugal was truelly a blessed time. The people there were so friendly and they did everything they could to make us feel at home. Some of them could not speak English very well, but we managed to communicate by show of hands, pointing or guessing the words. They really opened their hearts to us and it was a privilege to meet them. One of the highlights for me was the basketball we could play with some of the kids there. Our trip through Egypt and Israel is coming to an end, but the experiences we shared will echo in our lives for years to come. In Egypt we saw the ancient paths from the Bible. The country seems to lack joy and hope, but in some places there is a very bright light shinning. We visited the Garbage City Church which was amazing. The people there are real and full of the joy of the Lord. We met some interesting people and learned a lot about different cultures!
