God's People

Our trip through Egypt and Israel is coming to an end, but the experiences we shared will echo in our lives for years to come.  In Egypt we saw the ancient paths from the Bible.  The country seems to lack joy and hope, but in some places there is a very bright light shinning.  We visited the Garbage City Church which was amazing.  The people there are real and full of the joy of the Lord.  We met some interesting people and learned a lot about different cultures!  On our way to Israel we had the privilege of climbing Mount Sinia and sleeping on the peak of the mountain, it was truly an amazing experience!

Going to Israel seemed so unreal, it is the promised land!  God's people!  The place where most of the Bible took place!  We had the privilege to visit a lot of the places where Jesus walked as well as the sea of Galilee.  In Jerusalem some of the locals invited us for dinner.  It was truly amazing!  There were people from 5 to six different countries and we all sang together and praised the Lord!  There was an elderly lady from Jamaica whom hugged us all and said that she has been praying for people like us almost all her life!  She inspired us and left us with a song in our hearts!

Some of us are leaving for Portugal Saturday evening, we are going to spend a night at the airport in Israel and also in Spain!  You meet some cool people while traveling and in transit!  God has blessed us incredible these past 2 weeks!  The team is growing closer and everybody is ready for the journey ahead!  God is wonderful and worthy to be given all the praise!  Everyday we strive to be a light to the world, through His grace!  We all are God's people!  We need to take each other's hand and walk to road with our Savior!!!
