Prayers for Myanmar...

In one of Jack Johnson’s song he sings about news readers not even being sad when they report about someone who died. I agree with him. News readers show no compassion. I believe that some of the severity of a case is sometimes lost due to this. I have taken it upon myself so translate to you the situation in Myanmar.

Sea the Glory of Our King

Written by Jana

Waves... Waves are amazing; they are powerful, calming, beautiful, majestic! The sound of waves reaching the shore has a holiday feel to it, it calms the heart and feeds the soul. At the same time the haunting sound or crashing waves reminds of scary movies and lost lives. The ocean is powerful and awesome! Covering more than two thirds of the land it is much more than we could ever imagine and even today in our technologically advanced era surprises with secrets and mystery...

Left Behind

It might be seen as negligent, irresponsible, bad luck, poor admin. We see it as God's divine intervention and an answer to the prayers of little warriors. We were informed that Margot's India visa had expired and she couldn't travel South with the rest of the team and Yellow decided to stick together and stay with our little Miss Prosch. Saturday morning at 6am we waved goodbye to the rest of the team. If you picture 5 sad little faces as a bus pulls away you are wrong. Clara met a pastor from a local ministry during the week and he invited us to attend their church service today. We gladly accepted and set off to church early this mornig. We were welcomed with open arms and truly touched by kiwi hospitality. They invited us into their church and we immidiatly felt like one body of Christ. To these people nothing but Christ matters!...

Survival

My dad once said I am at my happiest on a couch doing absolutely nothing and that if possible; I’d spend my whole life that way.

Incredible India

Incredible India
Standing at the end of yet another country I’m faced with something quite unfamiliar to me. I have no words to describe what’s in my heart and in my head. India was an unbelievable experience that I won’t ever be able to put into words. India is rich in colours, textures, smells, tastes and sights. We had the privilege to travel up to the mountains and I was amazed with the character and stories that the mountain scenes had to tell. Once again I stood in awe of how big God is! At the same time there’s a hopelessness and...
