THA I(s)LAND

THA I(s)LAND
This story started a few kilometers outside London when we met Seraniah, the owner of the campsite's Thai wife.  She told us about her small ministry for abused girls and also that they are in the process of building the first church on Koh Chang Island.                                                                       The Lime team was sent to the island to build - literally and spiritually.   We can't claim to have built a church, for the need was a small building next to the church: a male and female toilet!...

China town(s)

China town(s)
21days, 7 towns, 3 people, 1 mission: to spread the Gospel but there's 1 small obstacle: language   Marnus, Darko and myself (otherwise known as the MTT - Muslim Traveling Team) were sent out from Xining on a 21 day mission to 7 towns in the Ghanzou province, which is in the western part of China. Afterwards we joined the team for debrief in Shaga.   First up was Dagajia , consisting of two streets crossing one another. We met one English speaking guy in the town who pointed us in the direction of the school, where an English teacher lives....

Touching Base

Dear world out there How can i  describe the past three weeks with mere human words? I wish is were possible to transfer thoughts from one mind to another without using word, because words can be so limiting. I'm experiencing JOY, laughter, excitement, intimacy with my First Love :) , beautiful scenery, extraordinary talks (thanx floyd), amazing honest raw abundant seeking-His-face worship (thanx retief, and God), hard work at the primary school and wonderful new God-honouring friendships being born, to name just a few of the things i'm experiencing! In short: I'm loving this simple life! :)  God is my Base...

Returning to my First Love

In a few minutes I will be 22 years old and I pray that the new year in my life will bring renewal from deep within me. I yearn to burn with passion for God as I have before, I desire to love Him again with my whole heart and soul and mind, I wish to return to Him, my First Love. Jesus Christ. I am tired but quite satisfied when I look back at the past year. A lot has been accomplished. Sadly I have to admit that I did not love God as I used to. Exactly like the people in Revelation 2:1-7. For me...

So we started out on our Luke 10 yourney being sure about only two things: 1.We're heading for Mexico and  2.The Lord will guide our every...
