THROUGH AND THROUGH

Ladies and Gents, welcome to blog number 7. Today I felt it heavy on my heart to talk about something that, I think, people are unsure off. I also think that there are some people who are struggling in life because of it, but in any case that is what I think. I want you to open your hearts and let Jesus talk to you today. So yeah let me ask you a question first: What does it take to have a relationship with Jesus? Not sure what it takes or what you have to do to go into a...

Church at the crossroad

Church at the crossroad
A crossroad is a place where you are forced to stop, reassess and consider the direction you are going. Our team's time at the church in Al Mafraq, which means crossroads, was such a time. Each one of us stood at a crossroad. We had time to stand still, take in the view (which was beautiful by the way) and consider which way we are going. God used this time to lay foundational truths in our hearts. He took each one of us on an adventure in finding our identity as His children, depending on Him and drawing closer in...

Unity

It is cold and rainy. Someone's singing in the background, while the street is going crazy with hooters and sirens. Outside it is busy with people going up and down and with their body language you can tell that in this place they flourish on a "every man for himself" basis. You have to bounce around all the rubbish to make your way from point A to point B. The coffee smells and tastes funny and the food is absolutely delicious. Welcome to Jordan! Each one of our team members, going through their own joys and struggles. Everyone kind of...

Jordan

Jordan
"Oh Lord, let's sit on the highest mountain." I want you to touch my eyes and open them to the nations. There are so many, but so little time. You look at me with an expression on your face implicating that I have to give more thought to my previous statement. Time? Time is a man-made concept . ''My love, you've got all the time in the whole world, because the world is mine and I give it to you. The world and the nations are your inheritance." Psalm 2:8 "Look.'' He pointed over the nations. ''What do you see?''...

Showing me the Future

“Jesus reveal Yourself to me? I’m asking You to please show me Who You are.” ALRIGHT MY SON, JUST BECAUSE YOU ASKED AND HAD FAITH IN ME I WILL. VISION, VISION, VISION. Yip, Jesus is really working with not just me but our entire team. He is also in this time and space of the world busy revealing Himself to people of all religions. The time here in Jordan is really an indescribable experience and God is really busy revealing Himself to me. He is giving me visions about the past and even the future. Not only that, I am...

So it begins...
So here it is. Our first official team Westbound blog. After sending some as forerunners, our whole team finally arrived safely in Turkey.  Training has been both challenging and exciting. God is doing a new work in our hearts. God is continually busy breaking our boxes and we are very excited to see what He has in store for us as a team this year. Sunday evening we will be in Jordan. God is calling us to be completely dependent on Him. He keeps showing us that He is faithful through meeting our financial, physical, emotional and spiritual needs. Fifteen...

Best place to be.

Would you believe me if I said that as I was standing there looking over the Transkei, I believe that God was skipping through the mountains and the wind.   The 9'th of February we got into busses heading for the Transkei. We lived at a little place called Canzibe, It was an experience I'll never forget . The people don't have much in the Transkei, but the view they have makes them rich .We spent time doing a lot of children's ministry , painting , door to door ministry, hospital visits and being part of a xhosa church. It...

Jesus have Your way with me

God, are You there? “ Yes my son, I am.” But I don't feel or hear You? “Just TRUST ME My son.” But God, I am struggeling to have faith because I don't know if You are there or not. “ My son, I am going to teach you faith. Read James 1 and hold onto that!” So yeah, as you can see I am currently on that journey with Dad and believe me when I tell you, IT IS VERY HARD! Nobody said it was going to be easy and quite frankly I like it hard, it truly brings...
