In awe of Him

Angus heard God's heart and acted apon it, calling a nation to stand together. The 22nd of April was the prayer meeting in bloemfontein where 1.7 million people attended and I had the immense privilege to be one of them.

It was time and I was standing on a hill in utter awe, looking down at the swarms of people that have come because of Jesus. Flabbergasted, I had to sit down for a while to take it all in. Looking around me, seeing people praying at the cross, seeing others crying and seeing some in joyous worship. I still get goosebumps just thinking about it. I was completely overwhelmed by the love all these people had for Jesus and the intense love He has for us.

When the time came, 1.7 million brothers and sisters knelt together, hand in hand. The Holy Spirit moved gently around the crowd like a soft whisper, a gentle breeze caressing my skin. We were all like conductors of an electric current, allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through each other, crying out to the heavens above, united, forming an unshakeable kingdom and all praying the same prayer. It was indescribably beautiful.

God is so good, He is speaking to us all the time. We are always surrounded with His presence. We just need to take a pause and allow ourselves to feel Him through every yearning cell. He has heard our prayers, He hears all of them, we just need to believe...abby bloem#
