Those who pray together stay together

In Panama we went with YWAM to a small town. The main goal of our trip there was Bible distribution. We ended up walking door to door blessing people with Bibles if they don't have one and then we would pray for them and wait on the Lord to give us scripture for them. Through that God made His glory known all over that little town.

So while we were doing that we met a man who knows the Lord but he had trouble walking, he had to use a walking stick to support him and one of his hands is kind of disabled. Like faithful christians we prayed for him for healing and left, kind of forgetting about our prayer. A few days later when we went back to carry on with our 'mission' we decided to meet at the mans house again just to see how he was doing. When we got there his face was shining and he was just filled with joy. It turns out that God completely healed him from his walking problem. He told us that when his wife saw him walking without his stick she was so overwhelmed that she started crying. God is so good! We're still trusting the Lord for complete healing in his hand. God is really awesome and He has done so much more then heal people in Panama. He has really been teaching our team about prayer. The first few days that we were in Panama we had all night prayer and intersession for specifically our team and just for encouragement. He really started working from the inside out with us because after our all nighters God really started using our newly found passion for prayer to minister to those around us and He has really pulled our team closer together. Now I know why people say those who pray together stay together.

Daily God shows us how mighty He is and daily He blesses us in many different ways. One thing that I know for sure now is that its not about who you are or where you come from. Its about your willingness and avalibility. If you say 'here I am Lord use me' God will use you and He will use you mightily for His glory if you are willing to obey Him when He replies ' okay let's go then'
