No Other Road Than His

I love Jesus...my heart's desire is to know Him and to be found in Him!
I love life, I love people, I love different cultures...and I love travelling;
why on earth would I not want to do the Global Challenge?

Megaphone of FREEDOM!

INDONESIA – a beautiful island country, that is caught up in the suffocating grips of Islam...with countless mosque megaphones proclaiming death and lies over her cities every day. Darkness is a constant companion for those living under this false religion, being imprisoned by the traditions of men...even if they do not admit it. There is a tent of darkness that lies over this nation - keeping them in bondage...BUT – the LIGHT has come! His name is JESUS CHRIST! He proclaims FREEDOM to the CAPTIVES and RELEASES those who sit in DARKNESS!!

So, in June I chose to be a megaphone of a different kind in Indonesia...spreading a message of HOPE, LOVE and the TRUTH!

We stayed in Yogyakarta, a student city on the island of Java for 3 weeks. I ministered in so many different ways during my time there – from kindergarten lessons, praying for people, house church, elementary classes, teaching on the Holy Spirit, assemblies, prayer walking, english classes, serving at a feeding program, praying for the sick, preaching, house visits to spiritual treasure hunting...but all the while spreading the same message of HOPE, LOVE and the TRUTH!

My team and I visited a Christian school, Teruna Bangsa almost every morning...where we presented lessons about Jesus and prayed for a lot of children and teachers. What a privilege to see God use us to encouraging them and also seeing Jesus setting some of them free from darkness. We were blessed with breakfast and lunch...every time we were there! We also joined with them in preparing meals to feed many hungry people in city.

We spend a lot of time with a student church in Yogya – Destiny Generation, led by a great man on God, Emor. I made so many new friends, and shared so many special moments with them. The fellowship was Godly and so encouraging – I kept on being reminded of Acts 2 and the first church. It was great seeing how Father God was teaching His sheep so much because they are so hungry to learn more.

I was also blessed to visit the city of Malang in South East Java - with 3 of my team mates and 3 DG'ers. We stayed at Pastor David's house and were blessed abundantly. We were able to minister at a school – where we saw many children return to God and being set free. I taught at 2 youth services on the Holy Spirit – where we saw youth moving into the more that God has for them. We also preach 3 sermons – and saw how God used His message about HOPE, LOVE and the TRUTH to draw people back into His presence and setting them free from darkness. It was an incredibly blessed time.

God is good! He's heart for His people and His church is to live in VICTORY. We have been called to live victories lives – free from darkness and its influence of it in our lives. I am totally convinced of this purely because I have seen how God has set people free because of Jesus' victory on the cross and through the power of the Holy Spirit.

It is for FREEDOM that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Gal 5:1

Walking out of Indonesia I knew we had claimed back ground and pushed darkness back. I don't know it all and there is so much more to learn – but by being obedient and taking up my authority in Christ I definitely walked over snakes and scorpions. (Luke 10:19)
