Australia, let us rejoice!

I am on a train to Sydney & just reflecting on the past 3 months of my life.  I am now on my way to Sydney, where wYw is flying out to New Zealand.

As I am reflecting on Australia, I'm thinking of all of the things God showed me & tought me the past 3 months.  God began to work with me regarding my plans for next year.  I wondered : how am I going to hear Gods voice telling me what to do next year?

Through things that happend, and people he sent over my path he showed me were I should start this journey for next year.

I always wondered why did I grow so much so far this year in Christ Jesus?  Why didnt I grow while I was at school or anywere els? Why did my walk with God start only this year?  I spoke to Anthony, my dearest Global Challenge staff member, about this while painting a house for YWAM-Newcastle.  The revelation just came that yes, it is because of circumstances and amazing people, but I had that at home as well. It was more because of discipleship. Meaning someone showing me the ways of Jesus and how to walk like He walked.  Someone that helps you to understand the Bible and to get to know how to read it.  Someone that sit with you and talk to you about Spiritual things.  This was the thing I lacked when I was back home.  Jesus also said that we should go and make disciples! Meaning: disciple others, so that they can do the same with others. Thank you Global Challenge for doing just that. Thanks for giving young men & women the chance of being discipled.

I'm still on the train to Sydney & I think I will probably be sitting here for a while.

We were working on an adventure camp site near Canberra, called Mountain Trails.  We worked there for about two months, helping out with caving, riding horses, fishing, motorbikes, absailing & just being awesome.  This was an incredible time.  We were so blessed by everyone there.  It was tough at the start, because we were not used to 3 meals a day and a shower every day. This caused the team to be a bit shaky but we soon talked it out as men & then everything was a-okay!

I almoust broke my foot while playing this strange Australian rugby-game-thing!  And the kids whom was under my care at the camp took such good care of me!!

Rainbow Trout!

Then we did some sheep work & that was a great experience & I want to thank the whole Willersdorf family for all of their blessing. It was a privilege.  And all of their kids was such an encouragement for me.  Thats a real Godly family.

We also went on a small outreach to Bourk with Clint, Dave & his wife.  God moved in Bourk!!

For the last two weeks we went to Newcastle to visit Matt.  De Necker, Anthony & I stayed at Matt's house and the rest of the blokes stayed at Jo's & Dennis' place.  Jo & Mily thanks for everything.  I had a lot to do with YWAM-Newcastle this past two weeks.  We served  them for a few days & in that few days I met the most wonderful people. I would just like to say thanks to everyone there espesially David Norris (just had to add you surname, cause it's just that cool), Sam Street, Jeremy, Erin, Sarah &  Hayley.
