Hollander-Family!

This blog is not something that happened in a foreign country, not something that any human could do, but something God has done for my family back home!

My mother is a wonderful woman, an angel if you ask me.  She has done so much for me, she has always been there for me and looked after me.
I remember that first week of Global Challenge, the first Saturday my mother called me and told me she has cancer.  Thoughts of “Should I go back home?” went through my mind.  I remember praying and asking God what I should do.  God gave me peace & told me that I am on the path that He has set out for me.
The first few country’s was tough for me: I never knew what to do or what to say to my family back home.  I never knew how to ask about my mom’s welfare while on Skype or via emails.
God started to work with my family back home.  God brought my whole family closer together, my parents’ relationship grew and through that the whole family’s relationship grew as well.  My mother and her sisters’ relationship also grew to an amazing level!  My Mom’s sister lives in England & she already visited South Africa (and my mom) twice this year.

Through my mom’s sickness God brought so many healing in our family!  He gave my mom a little hardship to be able to glue the whole family back together.

I GIVE YOU ALL THE GLORY LORD JESUS, I LOVE YOU!
JEHOVAH-ROPHE:

"The Lord Who Heals" Ex. 15:22-26. From "rophe" ("to heal"); implies spiritual, emotional as well as physical healing. (Jer. 30:17, 3:22; Isa. 61:1) God heals body, soul and spirit; all levels of man's being.

Wow Bernard !!!!-You are a making me cry.How difficult it must have been for you and your family to say goodbye for this year-not knowing if you see each other again.I trust that your mum is better.
Yes,the fact that you boys are trusting on the Lord from day to day also had a positive effect on our family. We also have grown in our relationship with Jesus.

Will keep your mum in our prayers.
