Fantastic Journey of Faith

Although my journey of faith only starts in 2013 - it feels like it already has. To see God's provision for my team members and myself thus far has been amazing! As He is preparing my heart for next year - I am just reminded of the gentleman that He is! If I look back at all the miracles, testimonies and great things He has done, helped me through and blessed me with in my life so far, I stand in awe. I believe that next year will be no different!
I have gained new respect for the words "faith" and "obedience" as this is what God has been teaching me more about the last couple of months and even though it might not be the easiest lessons to learn, I believe it is worth it, for I know God and He always keeps His promises! (Just like He reminded me through Ps 84 again this morning while praying about my finances) Therefore, I choose to walk in faith and obedience and invite you to do the same - it is totally worth it!! :) *Blessings!

Jesus - Interpreting Hearts

We could feel our hearts beat as we have walked quite a while going door to door during the heat of the day to share the heart of The One that captured our hearts..

Then we met Louise - a 60 year old man who lives in the Amazon in his beautiful wooden house. And so Jansie, Kasia and I along with 4 other local missionaries enter this very humble, hospitable "oupa's" house.

Immediately I get 3 words - "Children; Father of many; Man of many questions and pain."

All we know is that Louise has not accepted Jesus - not yet... ;)

blog 2As they spoke at least for an hour without interpreting, the 3 of us were praying.. At first I thought he had a lot of children, but as I prayed about the word God gave me for Louise - God reminded me of Abraham - the Father of Faith and that is when I knew God wants to establish something in this wise man's heart! How CRAZY did that not sound to me at that moment - that God sees a father of faith when the man does not even believe yet!! Haha!

I was just about to ask about his children when Louise started crying and they finally interpreted what he was sharing - Louise had only 2 sons - both died a year or 2 ago and his heart was in pain.

How precise and AWESOME is God?!!!! He interprets the hearts of those He wants to touch without translators - all He needs is a heart that listens..

We finally got the chance to pray for him and as I shared how God will come and teach him Himself, answer the questions he has - that Louise will not be moved by "persuasive christian words", but that God will touch His heart Himself. That He will be the Father of Faith to many young people and that He wants to heal him.. Jansie shares a picture she received of him sitting with children all around him as he teaches them about God!!! :) Haha!
We only found out the full story of Louise in English after God already interpreted his heart to us and I should probably mention that Louise's knee was hurt pretty bad..

Well - Louise is healed. And after we prayed and our very precise prayers of God's heart for his were interpreted - Louise gave his heart to the Interpreter of all time - Jesus Christ. His heart was healed too and he also received the Holy Spirit!!

So, who said language is a barrier? NOTHING is impossible for God - the InteRpreTeR of HeaRts!!!

Wooohooooo!! Praise Him!
