"Hou bene hou!"
Running a race has always been lots of fun but having the oppertunity to run with the Mayan people has been one of the highlights of this year. The six of us; Hector, Paul, Tiaan, Marisa, me and Tobi ran a 8km race here in Panajachel
We only started the race at 11:00am the morning so the sun was scorching hot, the toughest challenge.
We were all very excited and enjoyed the day in the sun with the local people. Just to say that these people run up a mountain like we run a downhill. They spend most of their days walking and carrying heavy objects up and down these steap mountains.

I finished 2nd in the woman.
