Yes, it's no joke people. It's so valued so much that unknown to most of the the world 2 armies have been fighting over it since the dawn of time...
It's hearts .... Yip, no spelling mistake, it's definitely the human heart (or more specifically the soul).
In Thailand it's easy to forget that we're busy with mortal combat when all the world would have you forget its dark side. Even most traces that the Tsunami ever happened are gone. Have they all forgotten? Have we all forgotten?
We've been here 3 days now and had the most amazing time with incredibly nice people who have opened their hearts and their homes to us. They have shared their food with us (YUM!!!!), their beaches, their universities, their hearts for Thailand and their love for God. They have held nothing back.
Every October there's a Vegetarian Festival in Phuket. The people dress in white & have parades every day to honour the vegetarian spirit. All the food stalls sell only fruit and veggies. Sounds lovely, right? What about the demon-possessed people that hurt themselves and others and then have absolutely no recollection of it? Definitely not tourist-info printing material.
But their hearts are a precious commodity, more highly valued than water in the middle of the Sahara desert in dry-season. Jesus died for them. He loves them.
