Bubble bubble toil and trouble.
Eye of newt
Miles of smiles
Stir the rainbow twice
Dance around in bells and SHOUT
A dash of lavender, a pinch of salt
Slowly let it brew...
5 teams jumbled together, one challenge, TONS of fun!
It's a bit like putting together the kids from Captain Planet, connecting the rings, and then seeing where the adventure awaits.
We (Mari, Elizma, Tjaart, Herman, & me) started the day with lots of enthusiasm, then we found out about the liquid breakfast we were about to receive - raw egg. Yum.
We had a clue card with picture clues on that we had to find, and the first stop after China Town was Leicester Square, where we found out that Indian embassy is the next stop. A nice Chinese tourist translated the Chinese clue into British Museum for us, and of we were to find Dietrich Bonhoefer at Westminster Abbey.
In the mean time Tjaart forgot his bag in the tube, jumped back on the train like an action hero, and found that guns don't help when you're alone on an empty station waiting for a train.
The brownies at Borough Market made up for everything and restored our energies after the long walk across Tower Bridge. (We also got a little bit lost.)
Actually, come to think of it, we had a very foody challenge, egg, brownie, squid at China Town (not to everybody's taste), helping Spongebob make the perfect burger in Bikini Bottom at the Science Museum, and eating Subway (after getting "lost" on Oxford Street).
We found In the Night Garden in the Science Museum. I've never seen a little boy so excited about a book than that the little boy that got the gift, not even Bastian in Neverending Story.
Before ending the day at the Greenwich timeline, we had to cross the footbridge twice, and take photos of a monument in Hyde Park and two singing dolls at the Ripley's museum that I thought looked like the queen of hearts bakers.
It was as chilled and fun as a Lime challenge! Rainbow Brights anytime!
