Challenge accepted...!

Well its been quite some time since i wrote, but only because it is so difficult to put my experience into words.. Over the past 5 months we have been traveling in brazil, guyana, suriname, jamaica, cuba, panama and now colombia. It has been an incredible journey so far with many, many, many challenges. God has really gotten to the bottom of our hearts challenging our way of thinking, of doing, how we make our decisions and coming to that place where you have nothing else to depend on than Him( which is the most scariest area i have journeyed on, recently) for people reading it, they might think oh wow thats great, incredible story... but have you ever tried to aply this way of living in your life, not the physical but rather more the trusting God with everything part. With providing, with healing, with your safety and security? Is it real in your life? Do you really trust God in these areas of your life? God had to bring me to places where i felt like i just want to cry, i want to make myself feel better some how, but nothing could fill my need, no food, no movie, no beautiful place not even being around people could fill my need, at one such ocasion i felt alone, hopeless, i was physically sick, worried about money, i felt unsafe and just wanted to go HOME where i do feel safe. It was the most horrible feeling ever and the worst day of my entire life, but three days later i could see God's hand in it and now know that God wanted me to come to that place to undersrand that i needed to surrender my security, my need for safety. I thought i surrendered everything and really trusted Him, but once i was in this jam, horrible day I all of a sudden did not believe that He was so real and trustworthy anymore. As soon as I went to pour my heart out at His feet, crying out to God to rescue me from my despair, He quickly came through. I was astonished at this and very overwhelmed. So there is a challenge for you, try it, it's very adventurous, challenging and sometimes scary but so rewarding!!
