As I write, we are on our way home from an incredible faith journey. A week and a half ago we set out to Port Elizabeth in hopes that we would make it to Coffee Bay in the Transkei in South Africa. Once in Port Elizabeth, we went out into the streets with cans and told people about our mission to go to Coffee Bay and build a fence and playground for the kids. Over the course of three hours we were able to raise 18,000 South African rand for our journey. So, we left on our journey!
Upon arriving in Coffee bay that evening, we hardly had enough money to even start our project...but God was for us, so who could be against us! The next day we started gathering supplies and going out into the community to get tools from the locals. It was a amazing to see how God provided. Discounts were given to us left and right at the local stores. People in the local community let us borrow their tools day after day! We were able to purchase what we needed to build the fence, but trusted God for more... and more came!

By the end of the week, the fence was completed, a sand pit was built, a jungle gym was erected, a roof was fixed, a leaning of a structure of a classroom was braced, computer for the schools were worked on, and God provided money for a gate as well as an abundance of money for the next group from GCEX that will be going there in June! GOd is So Faithful!!!!
After doing all the work,
spending time playing, teaching, worshipping with the kids, encouraging local missonaries in the area, and getting to be a part of several rededications and salvations, we faced the challenge of returning to Jeffrey's bay. With no money, God has provided us a way to get back by using 7 modes of transport so far... and more to come! WE will let you know how the week and a half of faith came to a climatic ending soon!
