So Panama and Costa Rica was just like the other countries we have visited, really special, breathtaking sceneries an amazing time and experience. We can´t believe how fast time is going and how blessed we are to see the countries and its culture and people. Every one of them so unique…
If we can sum up Panama in one word it would be Prayer. We went to a small town called Gamboa where we stayed at the church and God just showed us to pray for the people there and wow, there was so many breakthroughs and we realized just how important it is to pray and intercede. We felt that for a few days just to pray through the night each having a certain time and at times we even went for a few hours extra just because Holy Spirit guiding and leading us. Never even tired during the day. It was amazing and as a team we really got blessed to see that God answers prayer, not always in the way we want or in the time we want it. He does it the way He wants and just to realize that He doesn´t depend on our prayers but still uses us. We serve a Mighty Sovereign God that is so Holy and lovely. We also got to stay with a Ywam group based in Panama and distributed Bibles to people in the community that doesn´t have any. And also got to see a small Indian Villiage of a total of 15 houses with no running water or electricity. And the people not complaining about anything, it really makes you think about the things we so easily take for granted. We left Panama with a hunger and passion to pray and intercede more.
What a priveledge to have seen the Caribean side of Costa Rica in a town called Lemon and its laid back feeling. We served the people by helping with physical work by painting, digging, planting poles ect at a church ground. Costa Rica´s coconuts are the best and is freely available anywhere and man did we eat lots and lots of them. Always ready and happy for a coconut break… We spend time with a church there, was involved with prayer times and even got to lead some of the Bible study groups. We are learning more and more about God, Jesus and Holy Spirit and we can´t get enough. From Costa Rica the team split in three groups because we hitchhiked to Guatemala that is just such a testimony of God´s provision in ways we cannot even describe from churches given us places to sleep to people blessing us by picking us up and some even being blessed to ride in taxi´s, cheap bus tickets, sleeping on a beach, swimming in a lake, riding horses and the lovely experience of riding into Panajacel with a Chicken bus. God is always faithful and looks after us better that we can ever think or dream.
Falling more and more in love with Him everyday.
