DANCING IN THE FREEDOM OF GOD

As I close my eyes I see Deborah wearing a flower dress with ribbons in her hair. She is skipping up and down the street while laughing out loud.

I know this is possible, for our God is a God of miracles.

Deborah is a beautiful six year old girl. Paralyzed from her hips down she has been living in a wheelchair all her life. She has to wear diapers and is 100% dependent on her mother. She's never been able to run around, play with friends, ride a bicycle or climb a tree and these are only a few of the things she is missing out on. The desire to live a normal and free life is clearly visible in her eyes when they peers through your heart and shatters it to pieces.

While praying for her she gripped my hand. Smiling at me with the most beautiful smile, I was filled with emotion. I asked God what the reason is that Deborah is paralyzed.

He answered with the following scripture:

"As he went along, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?""Neither this man nor his parents sins," said Jesus "But this happened so that the work of God might be displayed in his life.  John 9:1-3

The reason for Deborah's situation might not to be blamed on anything she, her parents or her family has done (family curse). God wants to use Deborah's illness to reveal himself to her and people around her in a miraculous way. He wants His name to be glorified through her life. He wants to use her to change people's lives.

Deborah will not be healed by our power or the emotions that overwhelms us. She will be healed through prayer and the trust we have in God through our faith. God is a God of miracles. He healed the blind; He raised the dead and gave words to the mute. He can heal Deborah! I believe this with my whole heart. He will do this in His perfect timing, not in my time or your time, but in His time.

Please pray with us for Deborah. Let's commit ourselves to intercede for her and laying down all we have for this beautiful girl.

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4: 6

May she come to live the predestined life God has planed for her and may she come to dance in the freedom of God...
