JUST INCREDIBLE ...

... just incredible ist what God has done in my life during the past months.
And I'm looking forward to tell you more about this breathtaking storys I'm going to experience with our awesome God !!!

God our PROVIDER

One thing we experienced in an abundance during the last three weeks was how God loves to provide every single thing we needed. And sometimes even more than only our needs but even what we desired without any real need for it.
God as our provider. This may sound familiar for you - so it was for me as well - because I heard a lot of teachings about this. But to experience his love and care for me in a daily way was something totally different. It was and is just mindblowing!!!
Here are some examples:
On the sea of Galilee Valerie tried to catch some fish next to a fisherman, but without any success. Suddenly it started raining fish and at the end this fishermen gave us 25 fish so we could have a big barbecue in the evening.
During our hike on the Jesus trail we found a lot of fresh grapefruits and bananas on the side of the way (laying on the ground. We didn't have to steal them so don't worry)
Totally fresh and better than in any shop! One day we passed a banana field and the workers saw us and cut tons of sweet, fresh bananas especially for us from the trees!
On another campside next to the Jordan river we found a closed box of milk and pudding powder in the trashcan so we could have some nice dessert.
And I could go on and on... Like the two days I really was longing for meat - we couldn't afford it out of the team budget it was just too expensive here - and on both days God provided meat for us. One time we got some leftovers from an Arabic family picnic and the other day we received gladly a feast of leftovers from a hotel - including an amazing dessert.
Traveling in Israel is extremely expensive. And our team budget wasn't even calculated for Israel but for Macedonia. There everything is much cheaper. But God decided to send us to Israel and here we where now for a whole month without any plan, almost no money and only one known host out of the past from other teams. But God did send us to Israel and so we trusted him to make a way. And he did!
Like on the first day. We just arrived in the airport from Turkey on Shabbat. This means there is NO public transport! So we decided to hitchhike to the north of the country. After some very interesting lifts we found ourselves stuck in an Arabic city were nobody wanted to stop for us, out of fear of terrorists in this parts. Finally a jewish guy stopped. But he didn't want to drive far enough for what we needed. So we send him further. After 15 minutes he came back, saying that he had to come back and wants to give us a lift to the next city to a better hitchhiking spot, although it wasn't his direction. What a privileg to see God caring so much for his children!
And stuff like this happened so often! We met people we could minister Gods love all over the country. We found new hosts who loved us in an incredible way and blessed us more than we can think of. And in all of this God was and is busy changing our hearts and drawing us closer to him.
Now we are on our way to the south because we felt God is sending us into this direction. And I'm looking forward to experience more of his amazing care and plans for our lives. All glory belongs to Him!!!
